Hi there
Sorry its been so long since I last posted
I've been soooo busy with my hairdressing and personal styling. For a few years now ive been actively promoting myself. This has been a difficult task as I find the industry so clicky. Its who you may know not what you know, coupled with the fact that great extensionists outside London are hardly ever recognised.Well last week I made a breakthrough!! I was a Finalist in a Specialised Hair Extension Competion. Out of 200 applicants I was in the final six!! The only one from the Midlands!!!Theres a God!! Unfortunately after driving all the way to Hammersmith ,West London, I didn't win, but I "Networked". That'll cover the petrol then!!

What is a Keratin Hair Treatment?
Keratin is the protein found naturally in your hair. The stylist applies a hair straightening product to your hair then uses heat regulated flat irons to seal-in the keratin. The process takes around 90-120 mins depending on the client's hair length and thickness.Brand names include Kerastraight and Brazilian Blow Out,both products are professionally used at Hair Creations.A Keratin Hair Treatment can cut down drying and styling time by 40-60%. You can forget frizz by the end of your treatment. The complex synthetic keratin actually coats the hair strands in that precious keratin that your hair needs. This immediately makes your hair more resilient. At my Salon when doing a keratin treatment I can almost actually see the hair shaft soaking up the pure keratin. This treatment is ideal for dual heritage hair, soft afro hair and most definitely European hair.As you can imagine life changing hair treatments are not cheap, quality never is.The keratin products sold over the counter at beauty stores do not compare so don't waste your time or money.Once again ensure your stylist is qualified.

Why have a Black Hair Extensionist? (Even though you have European Hair)
For thousands of years, African and Caribbean people have been adorning themselves with hair enhancements. The level of intricacy that our forefathers adopted was mind-blowing. This nimbleness and creativity has been handed down to us. Most Afro Hair Stylists are used to handling difficult stubborn hair so to work with silky smooth hair is a walk in the park. When one is lucky enough to find an imaginative, artistic Afro stylist there are no creative boundaries .Stick with him or her.Ensure that your stylist is fully qualified and you can communicate well with them so that they can achieve your finished look.Problems can occur if your stylist does not have the correct certification thus obviously is not adequately insured.Unfortunately bad Afro hairdressers have given some of us a bad name by setting up shop or mobile service with little or no experience or qualifications. At Hair Creations before any service is carried out, you as the client will be taken through a Full, Free Consultation. Below are some classic examples of ancient hair styling that are still adopted to this day and influence modern styling.
